
Dr. Settimi has practiced in Lansing, Michigan, since 1981. He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, and a Diplomat of National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Throughout his 21 years of service, Dr. Settimi has held many positions within the Michigan Chiropractic Association (formerly Michigan Chiropractic Council) including eight-year Board Member, Chairman of the Insurance Committee, Chairman of Medical Services Administration Committee, Member of Legislative Committee and President of Michigan Chiropractic Council District II. In 1995, Dr. Settimi was appointed by the Governor as a Member of the State Board of Chiropractic Examiners, he is currently serving on the Board and is a Member of the States Disciplinary Action Committee. Locally, Dr Settimi was involved as a Board Member of the Physically Challenged Athletes of Mid-Michigan; he also served on the Board of the Capitol Area Health Alliance along with a coalition of physicians, hospitals, universities and local employers. Dr. Settimi is also a Board Certified Fellow in Applied Spinal Bio Mechanical Engineering, served as an Official Chiropractor for both the L.P.G.A. Oldsmobile Classic and the 49th U.S. Women's Open Golf Championship. He loves being part of a team network of Chiropractors between Waverly, Infinity and Ledges Chiropractic Centers.
Kurt S. Titze, D.C.
Dr. Titze graduated from Michigan State University in 1982 (Cum Laude), and thus is a true Spartan fan. In 1985 he graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa (Magna Cum Laude). Three days following graduation he began his practice at Waverly Chiropractic Center in Lansing, Michigan. Dr. Titze is a Candidate Fellow in Applied Spinal Biomechanical Engineering. As a member of the Michigan Chiropractic Association he has served as Secretary/Treasurer on the local district level. In 1986 and 1987 Dr. Titze volunteered his services to provide care to the migrant workers is Stockbridge, Michigan in conjunction with the Sparrow Hospital Association. In 1987 Dr. Titze served as the Chiropractor for the Wharton Center and provided care for various performers, in particular, the Broadway Dance Artists. In 1992 Dr. Titze volunteered his Chirogractic services to the L.P.G.A. golf professionals at the Inaugural Oldsmobile Classic Golf Tournement at Walnut Hills Golf Club in East Lansing, Michigan. The following year he was named Official Chirogractor of the Classic. As the number of women professional golfers that he cared for grew he traveled to Minnesota, Chicago, and Toledo to provide care at those L.P.G.A. Tournaments. In 1994 Dr.'s Titze and Settimi became the 1st Chiropractors invited to provide care (on-site) at a Women's U.S. Open Golf Championship. It was played at Indian Wood Golf Club in Lake Orion, Michigan. In 1995 Dr. Titze was invited to the 50th Women's U.S. Open Golf Championship played at the Broadmoar Golf Club in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Over the years Dr. Titze has provided care to over 180 L.P.G.A. Professionals and their caddies. Dr. Titze was fortunate to be the first Chiropractor for L.P.G.A. greats: Annika Soremstam, Donna Andrews, Emilee Klein, and Laurie Merten. Others he has provided care to are; Sally Little, Beth Daniel, Jan Stephenson, Hollis Stacy, JoAnne Carner, etc Dr. Titze has provided care to athletes at several Corporate Challenges. Several athletes from MSU have also sought care with Dr. Titze including former place-kicker Paul Edinger currently kicking for the Chicago Bears NFL Team.
Dr. Titze has been named
an Official Chiropractor for the 2001, and 2002, Common Grounds Music Festival
in Lansing, Michigan. The venue brings professional musicians to perform for
1 week each year to the citizens of Lansing. Professional artists who Dr. Titze
has provided care to include Gladys Knight and the Pips, Pat Benatar and her
band, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, and Jethro Tull. Dr. Titze is married with
two children. His hobbies include boating, water and snow skiing, golf, gardening
, and fly fishing for salmon, steelhead, and trout.
